On June 5, 2024, from 12:30 to 13:30, OCRD organized the first TA meeting of the academic year to welcome our nine new TAs, both on-site and online.
The meeting began with a welcome remarks from Prof. Jeffrey S. Cross. All members, both current and new, then introduced themselves and shared their past experiences and desired roles. Prof. Cross then explained the course development process at OCRD, the TA work guide, and the specific roles of TAs, the training materials and schedule for new TAs were outlined.
Prof. Yamashita Yukihiko then discussed current edX course revision tasks and presented future plans.
The new TAs showed great enthusiasm, expressing their interest in various tasks and their willingness to contribute to the development of OCRD.
The meeting concluded with the announcement of a welcome party, eagerly anticipated by all.
Our OCRD team is committed to continuously improving Tokyo Institute of Technology online course development and making it even better this year.
